  Status: Full-Time (Currently Funded)  
  Description: The Network Engineering Manager is responsible for engineering and program management support of all network and communication systems within the Flight Test Support Division of the Missile Defense Agency, Ground Based Midcourse Defense Joint Program Office.  The position requires extensive knowledge of DoD communication systems, local and wide area computer networks, and DoD Information Assurance. 

Qualifications:  Requirements include a military or DoD civilian electronics and communications background along with a bachelor degree in a technical discipline.  A masters  degree is highly valued and commercial certifications such as CISSP or CISM add additional value.  Knowledge of government contracting and budget procedures is required.  Previous work in the Missile Defense Agency  or other large government test organizations is requested.
 

 
 

Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science/Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related field.
 

 
 

Other Requirements: All applicants selected may be subject to a government security and/or background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information if required. 

A currently active Secret Security Clearance is required for this position.

Position will reside onsite at customer location in Huntsville, AL, but must be willing to travel approximately 20% to 25% to remote customer locations.
